NexusCheck

Which states does your sales file actually trip?

A dated economic-nexus threshold screen for multi-state sellers. Upload direct vs marketplace sales by state. We apply each jurisdiction’s published dollar test, transaction test, and marketplace-inclusion rule — then hand you a packet your bookkeeper can read. This is not tax advice and not a remittance product.

What you get

A split, not a lump sum

Marketplace sales count toward your threshold in some states and not others. One total per state hides that.

The current transaction tests

Seventeen states had dropped the 200-transaction test as of 1 August 2026. A stale spreadsheet will still trip you on it.

A packet, not a login

Hosted report plus PDF, emailed. Forward it. We do not file, collect, or remit.

How the sample was built

The free sample is a real run of the same engine on a Shopify + Amazon FBA file: California’s $370k mix stays under $500k; Illinois crosses on direct sales alone; Washington crosses only because that compilation includes marketplace sales. Fulfillment inventory is flagged only where the seller attested it — we do not invent warehouse states.
